The Division of Student Life is preparing for the 17th season of the Student Life Game Day Partners (GDP) program, a crucial initiative that supports our students and enhances the lively atmosphere at our home games. Last year, many Student Life staff members participated, contributing to great success. We hope to build on this success and maintain a strong presence at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium during UA home games.
The Game Day Partners program involves staff who are willing to engage and interact with students in the stadium’s student section and at the ticket gate. This is not about policing students; rather, it’s about being present in the student section as students find their seats before kickoff. GDPs will be partnered and will serve as resources during the game by answering general questions and concerns.
GDPs working in the student section will arrive at the stadium approximately three hours before kickoff and remain until the end of the game. They will receive a stadium section assignment. GDPs managing ticket access at the student gate will arrive at the stadium three hours before kickoff and stay until the first quarter begins. All GDPs will receive a lower-bowl student ticket to the Game Day Partner Section and an additional payment of $100 per game.
All additional information about Game Day Partners will be provided during a brief, mandatory training session at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Aug. 26, with the time to be announced.
If you’re interested in becoming a Game Day Partner, you can select the games you wish to work at during the season. This flexibility enables you to manage your work and personal commitments effectively. The deadline to apply for Game Day Partners is Wednesday, Aug. 12.
